Year 4 had a fun maths lesson learning about 3D shapes.  Children worked in teams to work out how many edges and vertices a variety of 3D shapes had and then built a skeleton model using spaghetti and marshmallows.

Year 4 and 5 had great fun making bird boxes with Miss Tubb, they worked in groups to assemble their bird boxes taking care using hammers and nails. Mrs Carter kindly put the bird boxes up in the forest where we hope they will be used for years to come.

The whole school trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park was a resounding success the children and adults had a fantastic day there were over 300 animals to see!
