Welcome to Sutton-on-the-Forest CE Primary School
My name is Helen Pye, and I am thrilled to welcome you to our school family.
Sutton-on-the-Forest is a vibrant, successful primary school where children truly come first. Supported by a highly motivated, resourceful team of staff and governors, we are dedicated to nurturing each child’s individual needs, setting high expectations, and cultivating confident, independent learners.
Our classes are arranged as follows: Reception class on their own, Year 1/2 mixed class, Year 3/4 mixed class and Year 5/6 mixed class.
We believe learning should be fun, happy, and challenging. We also know that a child’s success relies on a strong partnership between home and school, which is why we place great value on open communication with our parents and carers.

Our Unique Environment
For a small school, we are exceptionally fortunate to have vast, high-quality spaces:
Outdoor Spaces: Two large playing fields, a main playground, and a dedicated forest area with an outdoor classroom.
Early Years: A bright Reception classroom with its own well-resourced outdoor learning zone.
Facilities & Wrap-Around Care: A spacious hall equipped for PE and climbing, which also houses our Treetops Breakfast and After School Clubs.
