Over the last few weeks Class 1 have been visiting the woodland in Sutton-on-the-Forest for their Forest Schools sessions. They have been working in teams to create small hideouts for little creatures, creating pieces of land art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, listening to environmental sounds during ‘Magic Minute’ working in teams to build a tall tower made of natural found materials and lots more. They have been purposeful in choosing different and appropriate natural materials for the given task, found suitable places to create their hideout, art and towers, communicated their ideas in their self chosen groups and set to work. The results have been brilliant, myself and Miss Tubb have been very impressed with their behaviour, hard work, concentration and results of their tasks. Well done class 1!
