After sending a letter to Sir David Attenborough via Harry and Amalie’s Auntie Katie, this week we received a reply!
The children were so thrilled to get a reply so soon, and it was handwritten! David responded to all the questions that the children had asked him and even gave them top tips for writing. It has been a real joy to see how enthralled the children have become in this topic which has been brought to life by the added excitement of correspondence with the inspiration behind it. We have all been very excitable and are very grateful to the Dawkins family and Auntie Katie for being an integral part in hand delivering our letter. I’m sure that this will be something that the children will remember for years to come, their brief encounter with a national treasure!
