As part of our science topic, over the next few weeks year 2/3 are going to grow and nurture their own plants! Today we discussed what our plants needed to help them grow, why we need plants and how we were going to make sure ours would survive.
After writing some instructions on how to plant our flowers, we all had a go at planting them in pots and either placing them in the year 2/3 outdoor area or in the classroom. We have a watering rota ready to go, so hopefully in a couple of weeks we’ll have some lovely sweet pea and pansy flowers growing around the classroom.
