During our class assembly today, the snow came down thick and fast. As we only had a short time following the assembly and before break, the children were set a short task. As an outdoor challenge the children had a miniature snowman making task. They had to attempt to make a snowman whose head was one half the size of its body.
As a secondary challenge the children had to hunt for bears hidden in the outdoor area i specific given fractions of coloured bears, or sending a fraction of their group to find specific coloured bears. Much fun was had by all, even if we did get chilly hands and feet!
