Last half term our topic was Kings and Queens and in the final week of the half term children enjoyed a Kings and Queens Day! Children competed in a hobby horse race, pin the tail on the corgi,  hoop throw and a version of duck, duck goose that we named king, king queen! We also learned a royal medieval style dance and children then created their own dances in pairs and performed them to the class. In the afternoon we learned about the Queen’s jewels and had a jewellery design competition. At the end of the day children enjoyed eating jam tarts that they had made the previous day. Please have a look at our photos to see all the fun!
