It is very important to us as a school that we recognise the vital role that grandparents play in our children’s lives. We like to provide opportunities for them to come into school and share in their grandchild or great grandchild’s learning. They have a guided tour of the school and then sit together to look at their grandchild’s work over a cup of coffee. This year they were serenaded by the school choir who sang “All you need is Love” by the Beatles.
It is a tradition that we also have a netball match staff v children and despite a valiant effort by the school team the staff won 5:2. Everyone had fun and the atmosphere in school was terrific!
