Thank you to all of the grandparents who were able to attend our Grandparents’ Coffee Morning this morning. A lovely time was had by grandparents and children alike, with a tour of the school, cakes and hot drinks in the hall, and looking through the children’s work, as well as listening to the children singing.
Thank you for the kind donations of cakes – there were many delicious cakes on offer – and for the donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.
A special thank you to Mrs Williams for her help in organising the coffee morning, and to the Year 6 children for being so polite and helpful and great ambassadors for the school.
Some of the lovely comments made by the grandparents today:
“Very impressed with the school and teachers and the nice children. Thank you for entertaining us.”
“We always enjoy our visits. Everyone is kind and helpful. We felt very welcome and the children who showed us round were very helpful.”
“Always a lovely atmosphere – the children are obviously happy and enjoying school life.”
“Always great to see their work and the school environment. As usual, they have made good progress and are extremely happy and confident. It is a lovely idea to invite grandparents!”
