Today, Year 4 have been exploring the link between the volume of sounds and the size of vibrations. We investigated using rice on top of a drum and discovered that louder sounds cause larger vibrations. We then went on to think about how sound travels from its source to our ears, working in groups to create a dramatised explanation.
