Year 2 and 3 have really enjoyed reading our new class book “How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth” by Michelle Robinson. We were inspired by the instructions in the story to have a go at writing some of our own, to help us wash our own woolly mammoths!
The children each had a “mammoth” or similar animal to wash and worked really well in groups to work out the steps needed to wash the animal and write these down clearly for others to follow. Everyone had a great time washing the animals and all groups came up with some super instructions together. The animals certainly appreciated getting clean and having a long bath this morning!
