This half term we have been learning the traditional story of the Gingerbread Man.
We have used ‘talk for writing’ and the children have learned actions to help them retell the story.
The children have enjoyed acting in the role of the story characters and they have written their own innovated story.
We have also had a visit from Mr Clarke of Clarke’s Bakery who has helped us make our own gingerbread men. The results were very tasty indeed.
