Today reception and year 1 had the pleasure of sharing some books with the year 4 children. The children each chose a book and were paired with an older child who they shared the story with. Some took it in turns to read, others listened and talked about their stories together. This followed on from a successful shared reading session on World Book Day with the year 5 & 6 children. We hope to continue this during the summer term too! Take a look at your World Book Day bingo, you might be able to tick something off!
