Salve! On Wednesday Class 2 had great fun preparing and enjoying a Roman Banquet for their special Roman guest. All of the children helped to serve one another and tried some foods which they hadn’t before, as well as enjoying some favourites. Following their research on what and how the Romans ate, they moved all the tables and chairs to create a large space for them to lounge in and ate using their fingers. We even spoke a little bit of Latin throughout the day too. The children all looked fantastic in their Roman outfits!
