Year 2/3 had quite the challenge set for them this morning! They had to work out different calculations to determine how much of each of the magical liquids to add to their cauldrons to make different potions, measuring these accurately with measuring cylinders.
Then the children had some tricky riddles to solve where they had to work out different sized batches of each potion including double the amount, 3 times, half, a quarter or even 3/4 of the mixture!
Everyone measured the liquids very accurately and Miss Hodkin was very impressed with all the team work and problem solving skills on display!
