Year 2 and 3 have been working hard this week on solving maths problems involving money. Year 3’s tackled some challenging multi-step money problems really well and year 2 have been working on making the same amount of money in different ways and finding change.
Here are some photos of year 2/3 finding different ways of making the same amount and finding change in “Miss Hodkin’s great greengrocers shop”. Everyone persevered with finding change from 20p, 50p and £1 and all the children definitely enjoyed buying some fruit and vegetables!
