In Design and Technology the Year 4, 5 and Year 6 children have been researching, planning, designing and building to scale models of Viking Long ships. They all made a paper prototype first before beginning to make their final design out of thick card. Brilliant!

On Wednesday 4th November the Year 3, 4, 5 and 6’s went to Easingwold Secondary School to take part in the cluster schools cross country event. The children all did their best and we were very successful as a school, with many children qualifying for the final which will be held on Tuesday 17th November....

The children were each given a chocolate button to hold in the palm of their hand with their fingers closed around it whilst Mrs Bird read the poem ‘Chocolate’ by Michael Rosen.
